About together²

Connecting people. Empowering wellbeing.

We are together², a team of dynamic individuals driven by a single goal: connecting people to empower wellbeing. We have been part of Sydney's Inner West community for over 40 years, and we are not going anywhere.

Our beliefs

We believe everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and connected.

People with a disability supported and accepted as they are. Older people empowered to live with dignity and self-determination. Every member of our community accepted, included, and celebrated.

"We connect to empower."

Our story 1984 to today

Forty years of showing up for our community.

1984

Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre opens

A small group of locals start a community centre on Darling Street, Rozelle. The mission is simple: a safe, welcoming place where neighbours can come for help, connection, and a cup of tea.

2021

We become together²

After expanding into disability and aged care services, the organisation rebrands as together². Same heart, same Rozelle home, broader purpose: connecting people to empower wellbeing across Sydney.

Today

Where we are now

Around 160 workers and carers supporting 108 NDIS participants and growing aged care services across 15+ sites in the Inner West. Our community programs serve over 19,000 meals each year. Still here. Still showing up.

Why we changed our name

We needed a name as colourful as the people we work with.

For most of our 40 years we were the Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre. As our work grew to include disability, aged care, and community services, we needed a name that was as unique, bold, and individual as the people we work with every day. together² was born from our ethos: working together to make good things happen.
