Our story · 1984 to today

Forty years of place.
A new chapter.

We started as a neighbourhood centre on Darling Street. Today we are one organisation with two arms, still on the same street, still answering the same question: what does this community need?

How we got here

Same heart. Same street. Broader purpose.

  1. 1984

A neighbourhood centre opens on Darling Street.

Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre opens its doors. Playgroups, a cup of tea, and help for whoever walks in.

  2. 1990s

Care services grow around the centre.

Home care and disability support grow out of the centre's community work, one household at a time.

  3. 2016

    NDIS registration.

We become a registered NDIS provider and build specialist disability teams with real clinical governance.

  4. 2024

    together² is born.

One legal entity, two arms: together² specialist services and the Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre.

  5. 2026

    Our future, community led.

Our 2026 to 2029 plan: a revitalised centre, a café that does more than coffee, and a Wellbeing Hub. The next chapter is ours to write together.

together²

Specialist disability and aged care services. Complex SIL, in-home and community supports, behaviour support, SLES and community nursing. Highly skilled teams, person-centred plans.
