Aged care services

Aged care that helps you stay at home and stay yourself.

This page is for you if you, or someone you love, would like a hand to keep living at home. That might be help with the housework, getting out and about, or a few hours of respite for the family carer. We are an aged care provider in Sydney's Inner West.

How it works

Three steps. No pressure, no rush.

1

We meet you at your place

A coffee and a chat at your home, on your sofa. Nothing more, nothing less. We listen and learn what matters to you.

2

We plan together

We work out a support plan that fits your routine, your budget, and what you want to keep doing. We use plain words.

3

We grow with you

Things change. We stay flexible and adapt the support as your needs change. You stay in charge.

What we offer

Support that helps you stay at home and stay you.

Help around the house

Domestic assistance. Cleaning, laundry, ironing, dishes, meal preparation, shopping, gardening, collecting the mail. As much or as little as you need.

Staying connected

Social support. Monthly theatre trips, group events, coffee with friends, transport to the shops or appointments. We help you stay part of the world.

Respite for carers

If you care for someone full-time, you need a rest too. Our support workers take over for 2 to 7 hours so you can recharge.

Help with your Home Care Package

My Aged Care is the Australian Government's website for aged care. Confused by it, or by your Home Care Package? We help you understand what you have, what it covers, and what to ask for next time.

What it costs

Most aged care support is paid for by a Home Care Package.

A Home Care Package — HCP — is funding from the Australian Government to help older people get the support they need at home. There are four levels, from Level 1 (basic) to Level 4 (high needs).

  • HCP-funded. If you have a Home Care Package, your supports are paid for by your package — not by you.
  • Privately paid. If you do not have an HCP, you can still work with us. We will tell you the price up front.
  • We work with your budget. Aged care costs add up. We will plan around what you can afford and stay within it.
  • No surprise fees. We will be clear about every cost. If something costs extra, we will tell you first.

Not sure if you have a package, or how to get one? Call us on 02 9556 9500 and we will help you work it out.

What happens next

Your first three contacts with us.

  1. First call (about 15 minutes)

You tell us what is going on. We listen. No pressure.

  2. A coffee at your place (about 1 hour)

We come to you. We meet, we chat. You see if it feels right.

  3. We make a plan (about 45 minutes)

We work out a support plan together. We use plain words and we work at your pace.
